Jean passed away on Tuesday, May 12,2009. The arrangements are as follows:
Kalas Funeral Home
6160 Oxon Hill Road
Oxon Hill, MD 20745
Viewing will be on Sunday, May 17 from 2PM to 4PM and again from 6PM to 9PM
Funeral service will be on Monday, May 18 at 12 noon at the funeral home.

As many of you know, my sister Jean has been fighting a malignant brain tumor also known as a Glioblastoma. Over the past 10 months she has endured many treatments that have prolonged her precious life. She has recently taken a turn and is no longer physically able to walk so our family is no longer able to get her out of the house. I have decided to stay home with her and take care of her myself so the store will not be opening for business for a while. Many of you have made very generous donations and kept her in your prayers and we would like to let you know how thankful we are for everything you've done to help her in this fight.
